NBA 2K20 Servers – Known Issue
NBA 2K20 players are experiencing a lot of glitches on their system. A number of glitches have been fixed in the latest version of NBA 2K20 but there are still a few glitches that won’t be fixed until the official release of the game. However, most of the glitches you experience will disappear once you’ve downloaded the update. There are also some simple steps you can follow to fix glitches on your system. These steps are detailed below:
If you have an Xbox One console, you should be able to use the official NBA 2K20 server where other players are testing out the latest version. If you’re on PS4, you need to download the latest updates for your PS4. The PS4 has a dedicated “System Tools” feature which enables you to install these updates on your PS4 without any glitches. You should be able to find this option by going “Settings” > “System Tools”.
Are you having a problem with the NBA 2K20 servers popping up randomly all the time? There’s an easy solution to this which many people aren’t aware of – disabling all live updates on your system. To do this, head to “System Settings”, select “Network settings”, then tick the “Always Show Online Server” box. Note that “Always Show Online Server” means that every time you log into the game, it will display a web page showing the list of available networks.
Since there are no NBA 2k20 servers yet for the Xbox, all you have to do is start up the Xbox Live as you would normally do, and select “network” tab. Select ” multiplayer” from the drop down menu, then click “Add”. You’ll notice that you don’t actually have a network set up, but you’re good to go since there’s still one in place on your default network setup.
The other option is to download the game, install it and run it. If everything goes well, you should see two new listings on the xbox Marketplace, the MyCareer and the NBA 2k20 players. You’ll notice that both require you to input some basic details about yourself. It’s very important that you fill out accurate data, or else you won’t be able to register or play either of the games. Once done, you can now connect to the 2k20 servers and play against the online gamers.
How to connect to the 2k20 servers are currently down for maintenance, but I’m sure that they will get back online again soon. For now, however, you need to just wait it out so you can get the new ones. You won’t have any special requirements, such as an active Xbox Live membership, or other requirements for playing online. As long as you have a stable Internet connection and are signed up for the appropriate group, you should be fine.
Other than the odd error message, the other good news is that the NBA 2k20 rosters are mostly intact. There are a couple of players on the verge of making the cut that shouldn’t be overlooked, and it’s good to get an overall feel for each team before the actual season starts. This will also give you the opportunity to see who has the most experience on each roster, as well as to see which players are the best at handling themselves under pressure. These demos will be available before the regular season begins.
The only downside is that there aren’t any NBA 2k21 server details known yet, so you’ll have to wait until the official release date to get the demos. The official release date is scheduled for sometime in June, although it might be a month before we actually get them. We can’t wait to see what kind of glitches and bugs are in the game!
